Brainhack is a community-organized hackathon and unconference that brings together researchers and technologists from a myriad of disciplines to work together on innovative neuroscience projects. Since the first Brainhack in 2012, these events have been held in 8 countries on three continents and have become a model for open collaboration in science.
Following the success of previous distributed events (see Brainhack EDT and Brainhack Global 2017), Brainhack Global 2018 will take place simultaneously May 2-6 at 40 regional sites in 16 countries, allowing participants around the world to collaborate and share knowledge in real time despite being thousands of miles apart.
Please join us May 3-5 (Thursday night, Friday and Saturday) at Mission Hall UCSF to hack, analyze, build, learn, ask questions, and make new friends.
Participants are encouraged to post project ideas to www.brainhack.org and to submit a report describing their project to the 2018 Brainhack Proceedings that will be published by Gigascience after the event.
Please join the Brainhack Slack project for updated information on the developing Hackathon content and to contribute your own ideas.
